Jurisdiction

Consular Jurisdiction applies to Angola visas, TDS Houston Office can only process applications for persons who are residents of the following states: AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, MS, LA, NM and TX

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

Proof of US Status

Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

Proof or sufficient funds for support (US$200 per day); either a copy of a recent bank statement or business letter of guarantee from employer.

Letter of invitation sent by the individual or organization who will be the applicants contact in Angola.

Business Letter

A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Consulate of the Republic of Angola, Visa Section, Houston TX
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Please Send Two Completed and Signed Application Forms. Application forms MUST be typed, the Embassy will not accept hand written applications.

You must complete the Online Order Form.

The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Urgent applications should be shipped to TDS using only the FedEx Company.
Please use FedEx Priority Overnight. Do NOT ship "First Overnight." This will delay the delivery of your package.

The visa is usually valid for a single entry within 60 days of the issue date, for stay of 30 days per entry.

The Embassy of Angola advises travelers of the following: "The Consular Office of the Embassy of Angola has the right to request additional documents if necessary."

Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.

Your application will be checked and hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 10 business days for oil related business travel, or 4-8 weeks for most other purposes .
