Passport
Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 3 months and must have at least one blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 3 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Proof of US Status
Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)
Letter of Invitation
An original or a copy of a letter of invitation from a Belorussian Travel Agency. Hosting organization should be registered as a tourist company by the Belorussian authorities.

If you formerly had USSR or Belorussian citizenship, please submit the documents proving the loss of USSR/Belorussian citizenship.
Minors
If applicant is a child under 18 years of age, a copy of child's birth certificate and copies of parents’ passport main information pages (with passport number, expiration date, photo etc.) have to be submitted.

TDS Order Form
You must complete the Online Order Form.
The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.
While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Additional Helpful Information
Medical insurance is required for all foreign citizens traveling to the Republic of Belarus. This medical insurance can be obtained upon arrival at airport and border entry points. More information
The above visa requirements apply to the Belarus Embassy in Washington, DC.
Transit visas are required for all travelers heading to or from Russia or other New Independent States via Belarus (even if the traveler has valid Russian visa or visa of other NIS state)
The Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus has introduced a simplified procedure of obtaining Belarusian guest and business visas by the citizens of Argentina, Bulgaria, Brazil, Great Britain, Hungary, Canada, Slovakia, Uruguay, Chile, Switzerland, South Korea, South African Republic and Japan. Starting from the August 1, 2003 the citizens of the above mentioned states will not need invitations to obtain a visa valid for up to 30 days in Belorussian diplomatic mission abroad. This category if visitors will only need to present a passport, completed application form and a photograph.
Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy, normal processing time is 5-6 business days.
