Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport and must be valid at least 6 months beyond intended stay and must have at least one blank visa page. If your passport is not valid at least 6 months beyond your intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

One copy of your passports vital data pages are also required.

Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

Please send 1 copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

One copy of a business letter of responsibility (sample) are required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Paraguay, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

You must complete the Online Order Form.

The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Urgent applications should be shipped to TDS using only the FedEx Company.
Please use FedEx Priority Overnight. Do NOT ship "First Overnight." This will delay the delivery of your package.

** (Processing Time) Some nationalities require government approval from Paraguay before a visa can be issued and may also require a personal appearance at the Embassy to be granted a visa. If the government approval is required the visa processing time can increase by several weeks or more. TDS recommends contacting the Embassy of Paraguay in Washington DC to check the processing time and if a personal appearance will be needed, before sending documents to TDS for processing.

** (Validity) Paraguay multiple entry visas are valid for the life time of your passport, beware Paraguay requires that you have at least 6 months validity remaining on your passport when you exit Paraguay, therefore the visa cannot be used if you are within 6 months of passport expiration date.

Anyone who wishes to travel to Paraguay for any purpose other than tourism or business negotiations (e.g. work, study, adoption, immigration, or stays longer than stipulated in the entry requirements) should contact directly, the embassy or nearest consulate.

Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy, and is usually processed in seven to ten business days. The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
