Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months of your last day in Singapore and must have at least one blank visa page. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Also send two photocopies of Passport (from Page 1 to passport validity date, including the US visa page

Please send 2 recent professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

If you are returning to USA after visiting Singapore, please produce a valid US visa or the relevant documentary proof confirming your returnability such as INS Parole Paper, etc.;

A photocopy of confirmed onward air ticket or flight itinerary. A valid visa to the next destination should be obtained (if applicable).
The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A letter from your employer verifying current employment.

For social visitors, a completed form V39A (Letter of Introduction), issued by a local contact in Singapore, is required. Form V39A is available at www.ica.gov.sg/data/resources/docs/Visitor%20Services/FormV39A.pdf

A business letter of responsibility is required if you are traveling for business purposes , to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Singapore, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

And

Letter of Invitation from a Singapore registered company is required. (Letters of Invitation from US companies are not acceptable.)

Separate instructions apply if you are Bangladesh, Chinese, Indian, Myanmar, Russian or CIS countries passport holders.

Indian Citizens: Please provide a letter confirming the need for a Single, Double or Multiple entry visa. Also provide a day time phone number.
Bangladesh Citizens: Please provide a letter confirming the need for a Single, Double or Multiple entry visa. Also provide a day time phone number.
Chinese Citizens: Please provide a letter confirming the need for a Single, Double or Multiple entry visa. Also provide a day time phone number.
Myanmar Citizens: Please provide a letter confirming the need for a Single, Double or Multiple entry visa. Also provide a day time phone number.
Russian Citizens: Please provide a letter confirming the need for a Single, Double or Multiple entry visa. Also provide a day time phone number.
CIS Countries: Please provide a letter confirming the need for a Single, Double or Multiple entry visa. Also provide a day time phone number.

Please Send Two Completed and Signed Application Forms.

You must complete the Online Order Form.

The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Urgent applications should be shipped to TDS using only the FedEx Company.
Please use FedEx Priority Overnight. Do NOT ship "First Overnight." This will delay the delivery of your package.

The permitted duration of stay is determined at the discretion of the Immigration Officer upon arrival at the Singapore Immigration Checkpoints. Regardless of the length of stay granted, visitors may apply for extensions of stay in person at the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority before the expiration of the entry permit.

Please note that the instructions above are for Tourist / Social / Business Visits only. If you are visiting Singapore to conduct or participate in a conference, seminar, workshop or gathering of a racial /communal, religious, cause-related or political nature; or if you are a reporter/journalist who are visiting Singapore to write a story; or if you are performing at nightclubs and lounges, you will need to apply for a Professional Visit Pass.
