Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S Passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond your arrival date and must have at least one blank visa page. If your passport is not valid 6 months beyond your arrival date, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 2 recent professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

If traveling individually, a photocopy of the airline tickets is preferred, or travel agency/airline itinerary.

Parental Approval for minors: Visa applications for minors under 18 years, should be accompanied with a notarized letter, jointly signed by parents or legal guardians approving the minor to travel.

If traveling with a tour group a letter from the tour operator confirming full payment has been received.

You must complete the Online Order Form.

The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Urgent applications should be shipped to TDS using only the FedEx Company.
Please use FedEx Priority Overnight. Do NOT ship "First Overnight." This will delay the delivery of your package.

Although vaccination certificate is not required for visa issuance, check with physician or local health clinic for vaccination requirements and recommendations.

No Visa is required for nationals of the following countries when the intended stay DOES NOT exceed 3 months: Botswana, Gambia, Ghana, Hong Kong, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The List of countries above that do not require a visa to enter Tanzania can change without prior notice. Please contact the Embassy of Tanzania or your Airline to confirm that your National does not require a visa.

Referred Visa requests - Nationals of the following countries MUST have their visa requests referred to Dar-es-salaam: Afghanistan, Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Lebanon, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Palestine, Refugees and Stateless individuals, Senegal, Somalia, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Sri Lanka.

IT IS EMPHASIZED THAT NATIONALS AND PERSONS OF THE MENTIONED CATEGORIES MAY NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY INTO TANZANIA WITHOUT BEING IN POSSESSION OF REFERRED VISAS.

Referred Visas can take a considerable amount of time to be issued, please contact the Embassy of Tanzania directly for an estimate time frame.   (normally 3-6 weeks) or longer.
