If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

To perform missionary work or other religious activities with the concurrence of the Thai Ministries or Government Departments concerned: (Category Visa)

Approval from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand.

To study, to come on a work study tour or observation tour, to participate in projects or seminar, to attend a conference or training course, to study as a foreign Buddhist monk: (Category “ED” Visa)


(1) Foreigners who wish to study in Thailand must provide the following documents:
· Letter of acceptance from the concerned schools/ universities or institutes
· School license or business registration, list of shareholders and school profile .

(2) Foreigners who wish to participate in projects or seminar, to attend a conference or training course in Thailand must provide the following documents:
· Letter from applicant's company indicating the applicant's position, length of employment, salary and purpose of visit(s) to Thailand
· Letter of invitation or acceptance from the concerned companies/ organizations or institutes with business registration or business license.

To conduct scientific research or training or teaching in research institute: (Category “RS” Visa)

Letter of invitation from the concerned research institutes with the institute business registration or business license

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Thailand, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

A copy of the applicant's most recent checking account bank statement. Statement must show at least ($500 per person and $1000 per family) It is advisable to erase account numbers.

A money order is required by the Embassy of Thailand. The money order will be obtained by TDS, the consular fee above includes a $5 money order fee.

The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Please use FedEx Priority Overnight. Do NOT ship "First Overnight." This will delay the delivery of your package.

The Thailand Non- Immigrant visa is usually valid for three months from date issued, for a stay up to 90 days.

If a multiple entries visa is required, a request should be made in both the invitation from the Thai host company and in the Company letter of financial support.
