REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER LIBYA

U.S. President George W. Bush today eased a long standing ban on travel to Libya, as well as a ban on travel-related expenditures.

The administration invited Libya to establish an Interests Section in Washington to lay the foundation for more extensive diplomatic relations in the future.

In the immediate future U.S. Citizens intending travel to Libya should apply for visas at Libyan diplomatic missions abroad, including Embassies in:

OTTAWA, LONDON, PARIS, BERLIN, ROME
