• You must print, then complete and include a Letter "Attn: U.S Passport Agency" stating: "I, (applicant name), hereby authorize Travel Document Systems to pick up my passport, and to discuss the status of my application with the Passport Services staff." Processing Information

Your application will be hand carried to the U.S. Passport Agency. There, the Passport Agent will examine the application and if all documents are in order, assign a date the passport will be issued (according to departure date from U.S.). Processing time varies according to the departure date from the U.S. Urgent issue applications (which may be issued same day), require proof of departure within 14 business days of being submitted to the passport agency and MUST be shipped Priority Overnight to TDS using only the FEDEX Company. Other urgent applications can be issued as fast as 3 - 6 business days, less urgent applications are usually issued within 8 - 10 business days.
The second valid passport is limited in validity to two years only and can be renewed with cause for two year periods. The process of renewing the second valid passport is the same as above. It is required to clearly show the need for continued use of the second passport. It is usually issued only to frequent business travelers with schedules showing difficulty obtaining required visas; or passport containing Israeli entry/visa stamps and itinerary showing entry to mid-east country which would deny entry.
