letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your
company letterhead and addressed to:

letter must explain all the following:
- The purpose
of travel
- Full name
and address of host company or organization in Paraguay to be
visited
- Guarantee
financial support and return transportation for the visit.

will be hand carried to the Consulate Office, and is usually processed
in two or three business days. The visa is valid for 90 days from
the date of issuance.

Notes
- Visa is required
for Official and Diplomatic passport holders.
- Any other
U.S. citizen who wishes to travel to Paraguay for any purpose
other than tourism or business negotiations (e.g. work, study,
adoption, immigration, or stays longer than stipulated in the
entry requirements) should contact directly, the embassy or nearest
consulate.
REGISTER YOUR TRIP:
The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:

Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
