REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER UKRAINE

Tourist Travel

Submit your valid signed passport (must be valid at least two months beyond intended stay in Ukraine)
1 Visa Application Form fully completed and signed
1 Passport-type photograph
Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
Copy of itinerary for urgent visas.
Evidence of valid visa or residence status in the U.S.
A letter of invitation from a Ukrainian or American travel agency, or confirmation from a hotel, or itinerary, or copies of tickets with valid dates.
First time visitors are usually not issued multiple entries visas, but applicants who have previously made 2-3 visits to Ukraine may be granted multiple entries (1-5 years) at the sole discretion of the Consul. Double or single entry visas are routinely granted where multiple entries visa is not avaiable.

Letter of Invitation issued by the Ukraine Ministry of Interior excepting for citizens of the USA.Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Slovakia and Turkey, or for citizens of counties of the European Union.

Business Visa

For MULTIPLE ENTRY visa, (available for commercial business travel) submit invitation from registered company in Ukraine, specifying travel is for multiple entry for a period of one to five (1-5) years. First time visitors are only granted limited multiple entry visas at the discretion of the Consul, whereas applicants who have made 2-3 previous entries to Ukraine are usually granted a 1-5 year validity visa. Consular fee for the multiple entries visa is $165.00 per visa for regular processing and $245.00 for rush processing (4 days).
Invitations must bear the seal of the issuing company or organization
For Religious Mission Visit
Your host in Ukraine must send an official invitation with the stamped approval from the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Kiev, or the office responsible for registering the host organization in Ukraine

A money order is required by the Embassy of

Ukraine. The money order will be obtained by TDS, the consular fee above includes a $4 money order fee.

Include credit card authorization, a check or money order payable to "Travel Document Systems, Inc." for TDS handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return FedEx.

Rush Fees:

(1) Normal processing time is 2 weeks. Rush fees apply to urgent applications. Visa fees are non-refundable if the application is rejected by the embassy for incomplete or incorrect data. TDS is not responsible for rejected applications.
(2) 24 hours rush visa processing is not available.
In order to expedite rush visa, please include a copy of flight itinerary as proof of urgent departure date.

Visa Information

The UKRAINE tourist or business visa is issued for a single entry or double entry within six months of issue date, for the dates of entry and exit not to exceed those stated on your application form and invitation or confirmation.
No visas are required for citizens of Romania, Hungary, Poland, Mongolia, Serbia, Lithuania and Montenegro, and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (except Turkmenistan).
Invitations from church organizations must be stamped by the city registration office, or the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Kiev.
Double entry visas can be issued if travel itinerary specifies two entries or if a letter is attached to the application requesting a double entry and explaining why it is needed. A $114 consular fee applies for this visa (issued in two weeks)
For MULTIPLE ENTRY visa, (available for commercial business travel only) submit invitation from registered company in Ukraine, specifying travel is for multiple entry for a period of up to four (4) years. Consular fee for the multiple entries visa is $169.00 per visa for regular processing and $289.00 for rush processing (4 days).

Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.
Special requirements apply for U.S. Official and Diplomatic passport holders

REGISTER YOUR TRIP:

The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:

Locating individuals in cases of family or personal emergencies,
Relaying important travel and safety information about the region,
Arranging evacuation transportation in cases of natural disaster or civil unrest,
Issuing replacement passports when originals are lost, and
A number of other administrative services relating to personal documentation.

Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
