REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER UKRAINE
Requirements for Non-U.S. Citizens for Tourist and Business Travel

Tourist
Visa for U.S. Citizens
- Submit
your valid signed U.S. passport (must be valid at least two months beyond intended stay in Ukraine)
- 1 Visa Application
Form fully completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type
photograph
- Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
- Copy of itinerary
for urgent visas.
- First time visitors are usually not issued multiple entries visas, but applicants who have previously made 2-3 visits to Ukraine may be granted multiple entries (1-5 years) at the sole discretion of the Consul. Double or single entry visas are routinely granted where multiple entries visa is not avaiable.

Business Visa for U.S. Citizens
- Submit
your valid signed U.S. passport (must be valid at least two months beyond intended stay in Ukraine)

- Letter of invitation from the host company in Ukraine
- Copy of the Ukraine host company's Registration and copy of their License
- For MULTIPLE ENTRY visa, (available
for commercial business travel) submit letter
from your company specifying travel
is for multiple entry for a period of one to five (1-5) years. First time visitors are only granted limited multiple entry visas at the discretion of the Consul, whereas applicants who have made 2-3 previous entries to Ukraine are usually granted a 1-5 year validity visa.

Your host in Ukraine must send an official invitation with
the stamped approval from the Ministry of Religious Affairs
in Kiev, or the office responsible for registering the host
organization in Ukraine

Visa
Information
- The UKRAINE tourist or business visa
is issued for a single entry or double entry within six
months of issue date, for the dates of entry and exit
not to exceed those stated on your application form and
invitation or confirmation. The usual period of stay does
not exceed three months, but upon application to a local
OVIR (registration office), extension is possible for
a maximum stay of six months.
- Invitations from church organizations
must be stamped by the city registration office, or the
Ministry of Religious Affairs in Kiev.
- Double entry visas can be issued if travel
itinerary specifies two entries or if a letter is attached
to the application requesting a double entry and explaining
why it is needed.
- For MULTIPLE ENTRY visa, (available
for commercial business travel only) submit invitation
from registered company in Ukraine, specifying travel
is for multiple entry for a period of up to five years.
- Invitations must bear the seal of the
issuing company or organization
- Passport must have at least six months
remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa
page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining
U.S.
Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining
additional visa pages for a valid passport.
- Special requirements apply for U.S. Official
and Diplomatic passport holders
REGISTER YOUR TRIP:
The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:

Locating individuals in cases of family or personal emergencies,

Relaying important travel and safety information about the region,
-
Arranging evacuation transportation in cases of natural disaster or civil unrest,

Issuing replacement passports when originals are lost, and
-
A number of other administrative services relating to personal documentation.
Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
