US Citizens: Get your Congo (Democratic Republic - Kinshasa) Tourist visa with the TDS New York Office

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least TWO blank side by side blank visa pages. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If you do not have TWO blank side by side visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A copy of the applicant's recent bank statement or evidence of adequate finance, such as a letter from a bank, or money market statement. It is advisable to erase account numbers.

A Letter of Invitation from a tourist agency or private host in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This letter must be notarized at City Hall in the DRC and either be legalized by the DRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs or submitted with a formal declaration of liability "engagement de prise en charge" issued by the Direction Generale des Migrations (DGM)

A letter from the applicants employer verifying employment is required.

Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required. Cholera vaccination is recommended but is not required.
