These requirements are applicable for Non-US Citizens applying for a Uzbekistan Home Stay/Private Stay visa in Washington DC

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

Invitation LetterInvitation Letter

The inviting person in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan must submit an approval request to invite a foreign citizen to the local office of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

The Internal Affairs office will give a notice to the inviting person to present to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on this notice, the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send a telex to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United States.

Your host should inform you of the telex number, to be included with your application documents.

The visa validity is determined solely by the visa office at the time of issue.

Visa validity ranges from single entry visa, valid for entry two months from the date of issue, to multiple entries visa valid for entry for up to 1 year.   Period of stay is usually determined by the type of visa applied for and by the visa office.

Visa Fee depends on the period of stay and number of entries. Visa fees requirements and processing times are subject to change without a notice.

Some Home Stay/Private Stay visa applications may be referred to the home government for approval. Approval in these cases may take 4-6 weeks.
