Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S Passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond arrival date and must contain two blank facing visa pages. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages If your passport is not valid at least 6 months beyond your arrival date, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

If traveling individually, a photocopy of the airline tickets is preferred, or travel agency/airline itinerary.

If the applicant is staying in a hosts home an Invitation Letter is require from the host.
Note: A Fax is acceptable.

If applicant is staying in a hotel but not on a guided tour a Hotel Confirmation is required.

Parental Approval for minors: Visa applications for minors under 18 years, should be accompanied with a notarized letter, jointly signed by parents or legal guardians approving the minor to travel.

If traveling with a tour group an itinerary showing all air and land travel from the tour operator is required ALSO a letter confirming full payment has been received.

You must complete the Online Order Form.

The order form gives TDS your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. You only need to complete one TDS order form per request. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to TDS and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay TDS fees. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

The Tanzania tourist visa for U.S. citizens is issued for multiple entries for a period of 12 months from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid, for a period of stay not to exceed 30 days each entry.

Although vaccination certificate is not required for visa issuance, check with physician or local health clinic for vaccination requirements and recommendations.

Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.

Your application will be hand carried to the Consular office, and is usually processed in 5-7 business days. Emergency processing (1-2) is usually available at additional consular fee of $20.00.

By connecting on the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, State Department will be able to assist you better in the case of an emergency, such as if you lose your passport or it is stolen while you are abroad.
