REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER LEBANON

Tourist Visa

TDS provides visa service for this country only for residents of the following states: For Residents of: Maryland, Virginia, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Washington DC.

This visa can be obtained upon arrival at Beirut airport or other ports of entry for stays up to 3 months

  • Submit your valid signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining
  • 1 Visa Application Form fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-type photographs
  • Covering letter specifying the length of stay and purpose of the trip
  • Applicants of Lebanese origin must present copy of Lebanese ID card
  • Spouse of applicants of Lebanese origin must submit a copy of the marriage certificate and a copy of the spouse's Lebanese ID
  • Child under age 18 must submit a notarized letter of consent from both parents

Business Visa

TDS provides visa service for this country only for residents of the following states: For Residents of: Maryland, Virginia, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Washington DC.

This visa can be obtained upon arrival at Beirut airport or other ports of entry for stays up to 3 months

  • Submit your valid signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining
  • 1 Visa Application Form fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-type photographs
  • Covering letter specifying the length of stay and purpose of the trip
  • Applicants of Lebanese origin must present copy of Lebanese ID card
  • Spouse of applicants of Lebanese origin must submit a copy of the marriage certificate and a copy of the spouse's Lebanese ID
  • A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Lebanon,
Visa Section,
Washington DC

    The letter must explain all of the following:
    • Nature of business to be performed
    • Name and address of reference to be visited
    • Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
    • The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

    Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy, and is usually processed in 3 business days.

    $70.00 Per Visa - Multiple Entries

  • Include credit card authorization, a check or money order payable to to "Travel Document Systems, Inc." for TDS handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return Shipping Fee.

Visa Notes
  • The passport must not contain any Israeli seals or stamps.
  • Performers and entertainers are required to obtain a work permit.
  • Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.
  • Special requirements exist for U.S. Official and Diplomatic passport holders.

REGISTER YOUR TRIP:

The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:
  • Locating individuals in cases of family or personal emergencies,
  • Relaying important travel and safety information about the region,
  • Arranging evacuation transportation in cases of natural disaster or civil unrest,
  • Issuing replacement passports when originals are lost, and
  • A number of other administrative services relating to personal documentation.
Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
