REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER MOROCCO

U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist or business travel to this country. Any U.S. citizen who wishes to travel to Morocco for any purpose other than tourism or business negotiations (e.g. work, study, adoption, immigration, or stays longer than stipulated in the entry requirements) should contact directly, the embassy or nearest consulate.

 




REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER MOROCCO

Tourist Visa Requirements:

  • Submit national passport /valid at least 6 months beyond stay
  • 1 Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed
  • 1 Passport-type photograph (write your full name on the reverse of photo)
  • Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)
  • Employment verification from your employer in the U.S.
  • Copy of hotel reservation or notarized invitation from your host in Morocco
  • Copy of flight itinerary or tickets
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
Business Visa Requirements:
  • Submit national passport /valid at least 6 months beyond stay
  • 1 Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed
  • 1 Passport-type photograph required
  • Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • A business letter from your firm, addressed to: "Consulate General of Morocco, Visa Section, New York, N.Y. ", explaining the purpose of the trip, and guaranteeing financial support for the applicant while in the Kingdom of Morocco, and return transportation.
  • An invitation from a host company or organization in Morocco
  • Copy of flight itinerary or tickets

  • Send the passport and all requirements detailed above, by registered mail or Federal Express to:

  • Your application, which must be fully and accurately completed, is hand carried to the Consulate General of Morocco and is usually processed in four to five business days.

  • Residents of countries other than the USA must contact the nearest Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence. The New York Consulate only processes visa for U.S. residents or registered students.
