These requirements are applicable for US Citizens applying at the New York Office
On March 31st 2014, The Governments of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda announced the joint "East Africa Tourist Visa".
This new visa category was created to help promote tourist travel to these three countries. If you are traveling too all three or any combination of these countries you can apply for one visa to be valid for all three.
The East Africa Tourist visa will be valid for 90 days and good for multiple entries into any combination of the three countries, however the visa is only valid if you stay within the region (African Continent) if you leave the region the visa is no longer valid for a return to any of the three countries. You must apply for another visa before returning to Kenya, Uganda or Rwanda.
If you wish to apply for this visa you must apply with the first country you are entering into. If your first country is not Kenya please click on Uganda or Rwanda for instructions.
Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.
Please send 2 recent professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.
