Eye height from the bottom of the photo must be

  • Minimum 1 1/8 in (28 mm)
  • Maximum 1 3/8 in (35 mm)

Photo must be recent

  • Within 6 months

Face should have a neutral expression

Photos should meet these criteria

  • Forward-facing face and body
  • Glasses off
  • Well lit (not too bright, not too dark)
  • Avoid highlights from the sun on your face or hair
  • Background is bright and doesn't match hair
  • Closed mouth
  • Ears showing*
  • Good resolution

*Not necessary in all countries.
