How It Works

A Turkish e-Visa is an official authorization for a short visit to Turkey for tourism, business or trade purposes. The Turkey electronic visa is valid for six months from your date of entry into the country for multiple entries of up to 90 days per visit and is issued electronically.

The Turkey electronic visa is submitted online, and the e-Visa approval will be returned via email. You must carry the e Visa approval with you at all times.

The validity period is different than the period of stay. The period of stay cannot be more than 90 days for a single entry. If you wish to stay more than 90 days you must apply to the local Police Department for a residence permit. If you overstay your visa, you might be asked to pay fines, deported or banned from future travel to Turkey for a certain period of time.
