The Saudi Arabian government has announced in the near future they will start issuing tourist visas to citizens of eligible countries, the list of countries has not been finalized as yet, rumored to be included are the: USA, Schengen zone countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the U.S. This marks a huge change for Saudi as Saudi Arabia doesn’t issue tourist visas, they only issue Hajj visas for religious pilgrims.
