These requirements are applicable for Non-US Citizens applying for an Azerbaijan Business visa in Washington DC

PassportPassport

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S passport must be valid for no less than 3 months after the date or your planned departure from Azerbaijan and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 3 months of intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

 

 

Official InvitationOfficial Invitation

For Business and Humanitarian visits, an official invitation provided by the host, obtained from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan or letter of invitation from the host along with a copy of the charter and state registration certificate of the host company/organization is required. 

If you wish to apply for a 1-year multiple entry visa this information must be included in the invitation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

 

 

Special InstructionsSpecial Instructions

All foreign travelers visiting Azerbaijan for more than ten days must be registered at the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan within 10 days upon arrival. All foreign applicants visiting Azerbaijan for more than thirty days must register their passports with the local passport registration authorities.

The registration can be done:

No fee is required for foreigners’ and stateless persons’ registration upon the place of stay.

The AZERBAIJAN business visa is usually issued for a single entry for a period of 3 months from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid, for a period of stay up to 30 days.

Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 10 business days, based upon urgency.

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan advises that the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan prohibit visiting the occupied territories of the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven adjacent districts without the explicit consent of the Azerbaijani authorities. It is illegal to travel to these regions without a special permit and visa issued by the authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
