According to the Kazakhstan Government decree No. 483 of June 26, 2015 citizens of following countries holding valid diplomatic, official and national passports can enter, transit through and exit the territory of Kazakhstan without a visa for up to 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border without a visa.

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond the validity of the visa you request, (i.e if you request a 1 year visa your passport must be valid for 18 months) and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport is not valid at least 6 months beyond your intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Introduction LettersIntroduction Letters

Tourist Introduction Letter - Applicants applying for a Tourist must supply a Letter of Introduction addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan. Please, indicate the purpose of your trip, name of hotel you will be staying in, the dates of your planned trip, and places to be visited.

All foreign citizens must register at the local office of the Minister of Interior or at the hotel they are staying at within 72 hours upon arrival to Kazakhstan. Otherwise they will be fined by the immigration service

HIV test certificate for those applying for a visa for a duration of stay over 3 months.

Tourist Visas are issued for a stay of up to 30 days in Kazakhstan and cannot be extended in Kazakhstan.
