Non-US Citizens: Get your Mozambique Tourist visa with the TDS Washington DC Office

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must be valid at least 6 months beyond intended stay and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If your passport is not valid 6 months beyond your intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 2 recent professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

If visiting friends or relatives in Mozambique a letter of invitation and a copy of DIRE,BI or passport from the host in Mozambique, the Invitation Letter should explain the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay and contact information. (Fax or Scan copy is accepted).

A copy of your confirmed hotel reservation(s). If you are staying at various hotels please provide a copy of the reservation from each hotel.

Please Send One Completed and Signed Application Form. Application form must be typed, hand written application will not be accepted.

Note: A visa must be obtained prior to your trip as a visa can no longer be issued upon arrival at any of Mozambiques's entrance points. Should you require a border visa you must require prior authorization from Direcção Nacional de Migração.
