These requirements are applicable for US Citizens applying for a Myanmar Business visa in Los Angeles

PassportPassport

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from your tour operator. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.

Business LetterBusiness Letter

A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Consulate General of Myanmar, Visa Section, Los Angeles, CA
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Invitation LetterInvitation Letter

Applicants must provide a Letter of Invitation on company letterhead and a recent copy of their business registration/incorporation from your Host Company in Myanmar that has been registered according to Myanmar Investment Commission / Ministries concerned, or a Letter of Invitation from the Government of Myanmar.
A Letter from Host Company should explain the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel, the letter must include length of stay, place of stay and host's contact information.

 

Multiple EntryMultiple Entry

First time applicants can only apply for Single Entry Visas.

Applicants who would like to apply for a multiple entry visa can do so if they can show evidence of a prior single entry visa to Myanmar.

The Business visa is valid for a single entry to Myanmar for three months (3,6 months or 1 year for multiple issue) from the date of issue. It is valid for a stay of up to 70 days and is not extendable.

If your application for a Multiple entry visa is denied and a single entry visa is issued the Embassy will not refund the difference in fees, therefore TDS will not be able to refund the difference.  

Note: Entry/Exit by land is not permitted.

Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.
