Document Requirements

These requirements are applicable for Non-US Citizens applying for a Niger Tourist visa in Washington DC

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 3 months and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If your passport expires within 3 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

 

 

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from
Department of Homeland Security

 

 

Letter from your bank certifying that the applicant has least $500.00 in his/her saving account.

(This also applies to travelers who enter Niger by road). It is advisable to erase account numbers.

 

 

Just like the adult, the minor applicant for entry visa to Niger must have a valid passport, issued in his name. It can not be indicated as an applicant for entry visa to Niger on the passport of his parents.
The visa application form for minors must include, in addition,
  • copies of the birth certificate and the minor's plane ticket,
  • parents' identity documents and an authorization to leave the territory from both parents or the parent that is not traveling with the child, where the child is traveling alone or with one of the parents.
  • In the event that the minor travels with both parents, copies of the airline tickets of the latter are also requested.

Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required.

Vaccination: International Certificate of Vaccination for Cholera, only if arriving from a neighboring country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported.

The Niger tourist visa is usually issued valid for 3 months for a single entry for a stay of up to 30 days. Visa must be used within 90 days from date of issue or it will expire.

Passport must have at least Six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.

Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy. Processing time is usually completed in 10+ business days.
An additional rush fee will be charged for one week +.
