US Citizens: Get your Nigeria Official or Diplomatic visa with the TDS Washington DC Office

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 2 recent professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Letter from sending department or agency, explaining the purpose of travel and dates of the intended visit.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

Note: Follow the step by step online instructions. Your application must be submitted online. When confirmed, please print a copy of your (1) Visa Application Form, (2) Visa Acknowledgement Slip,send to TDS along with all other requirements detailed above. Failure to fully complete the visa application form will delay processing the visa. This online Nigerian Government visa application currently defaults to a required payment by Credit Card of $180.00USD, this is an error in their system that the Embassy is aware of, do not pay the online fee there is no government fee for a Diplomatic/Official visa.
