These requirements are applicable for Non-US Citizens applying for a Rwanda Business visa in Washington DC

Pre Travel InformationPre Travel Information

1) All Travellers MUST show a negative Covid - 19 test result within 72 hours of departure, children under 5 are exempt.
2) A Passenger Locator Form will be required from each traveller before departure, your Covid-19 PCR test result will be uploaded while completing this form.
3) All travellers will be required to take a Covid-19 PCR test on arrival, you will also be required to quarantine for 24 hours at a government designated facility at your own expense until the test results are known.
4) All travellers who have traveled to India in the last 14 days will be required to quarantine for 7 days at a government designated facility at your own expense.
5) Land borders with the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Burundi and Tanzania are closed.

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. If your passport expires within 3 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page.

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

 

 

Business LetterBusiness Letter

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Rwanda, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

VaccinationsVaccinations

Vaccinations - A copy of your International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required if you are arriving from a Yellow Fever infected country.

A copy of your International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required to apply for your visa if you will be arriving in Rwanda from an infected area. You MUST carry your ORIGINAL certificate when traveling to Rwanda.
