These requirements are applicable for Non-US Citizens applying for a Sudan Business visa in Washington DC

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport. The applicants passport should not contain evidence or intended travel to Israel.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

 

 

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

 

 

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Sudan, Visa Section, Washington, DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

 

A Visa Approval from the Sudan Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required. The visa approval should be obtained on your behalf by a relative/friend, sponsoring company or organization in Sudan, business partner or joint venture in Sudan, or an approved hotel/travel agency in Sudan. The applicant should plan their travel carefully as the waiting time for the approval and visa can be 4-8 weeks.

The Embassy of Sudan in Washington DC will only issue a visa for travel to Sudan, when the embassy has received Approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

 

Passport (must be valid for at least six (6) months and SHOULD NOT have Israeli Visas of Immigration stamps affixed to it).

A Copy of the Humanitarian Aid Commission Certificate (HAC). This can be obtained from the Humanitarian Organization.

Employment Verification Letter from the Organizations Office in the U.S.

 

 

Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever and Cholera are recommended.

Passports should NOT have Israeli visas or immigration stamps.

The Sudan business visa is valid for a stay of up to 30 days.
Extensions of periods of stay in the Sudan may be done through the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Office in Khartoum, Sudan.

The visa is hand carried to the Embassy and the issue is subject to prior approval from Sudan.

Processing time for applications without prior approval is 4-8 weeks.

Processing time for applications with prior approval of the Sudan Government is 4-5 business days.
