The e-Visa is valid for a single or multiple entries, good for 30 or 90 days from the date of issue for a stay up to 30 or 90 days depending on your e-Visa choice. What is a Rwandan e Visa?

An Electronic Visa or "e-Visa" is an electronically issued and stored authority for travel to Rwanda, which replaces the traditional paper visa process in most cases.

Single entry e-Visas are valid for 30 days from date of issue while the multiple entry East African Tourist e-Visa is valid for 90 days from date of issue.

What is a Rwandan East Africa Tourist Visa:

Issued to a foreigner who wants to visit simultaneously Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya for tourism. An East Africa Tourist Visa allows for one visa to be issued valid for entry into all three member countries. When issued the visa is valid for multiple entries within the three countries and shall be valid for 90 days from the date of issue. The visa remains valid for the 90 days only if you remain in the region if you were to leave the region and attempt to return even within the 90 day validity period the visa will not be considered valid by the member country immigration officials.

Please Note: The East African Tourist visa must be applied for through the first country you enter, either Kenya, Uganda or Rwanda.

Yes, all travelers must have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of your departure, you must take a second PCR test on arrival into Rwanda and quarantine for 24 hours while waiting on the results.

Yes, all travelers must have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of your departure, you must take a second PCR test on arrival into Rwanda and quarantine for 24 hours while waiting on the results. Travelers entering from India or Uganda must quarantine for 7 days at a designated hotel at their own cost.

What is the Passenger Locator Form?

This is used to verify if you have had any Covid-19 symptoms, this form will be used to contact you if you have come into contact with someone with Covid-19 symptoms while traveling to Rwanda. This form must be presented to immigration when you arrive in Rwanda. The Passenger Locator Form must be submitted within 120 hours before your departure. Children under the age of 16 traveling with a parent or guardian do not need to complete the form as long as they: Arrive and depart Rwanda together. The dependents details are added to the parents or guardians Passenger Locator Form. They stay at the same address in Rwanda.

Do i need a Yellow Fever vaccination?

If you are arriving from a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission you will be required to get the vaccination.
